Christiane & Oskar’s Sitges Church Wedding Interview with our Bride
Christiane & Oskar’s Sitges Church Wedding was so beautiful we got our bride to tell all about her wedding dress, decoration and everything else in between. Congratulations Oskar and Christiane ❤️ Yours was a modern fairytale, he from Poland and she from Lebanon meet on a plane to Australia, they came all the way from Australia for their Sitges destination wedding ✈️ we loved celebrating this story and you two beautiful people. It was no wonder Christiane really wanted a travel theme and we had so much fun creating the seating plan with artificial moss and handwritten calligraphy names and the map card table numbers with an old atlas.

1. Christiane describe your Sitges wedding day in 3 words!
Fun, relaxing, memorable!
2. What was your favourite memory from your Sitges Destination wedding?
Having different cultures mix and dance and celebrate our big day.
3. Why did you chose Sitges as your wedding destination?
Sitges is a beautiful destination in summer, its close to Lebanon and Poland and a place everyone would like to visit. Sitges is a charming city, very alive and fun! We we’re so happy to have a Sitges destination wedding.
4. What did you love most about your wedding dress? How and where did you find it?
My wedding dress was light and very comfortable. I fell in love with it even more during the wedding day. I found it in Australia, on my first day of shopping.
5. If you did it all again what might you change?
If I did it again, I would give myself more time to get ready and take photos with my family, as my hair and makeup was pushed till last minute and I didnt get any photos with my bridesmaids at all.
6. Tell us about the blooms. What was your favourite thing about your wedding flowers?
I didn’t pick my wedding flowers. I trusted Rebecca to organise it all and the bouquet was very light and simple. It was elegant and beautiful. Didn’t stain my dress and it looked beautiful in photos. As with the venue centrepiece flowers, I was very pleasantly surprised with how beautiful and full they looked.
7. What is your advice for other couples planning a Sitges destination wedding?
Make sure you give yourselves and your guests plenty of time so the day won’t be rushed. my other advice is to honestly leg go and enjoy. Oskar and I didnt leave the dance floor all night. We drank and ate and mingled with our 100 guests. Our clothes and shoes were comfortable, my makeup was light and we had an afternoon wedding, so we had aaaallll morning to relax. Rebecca and Gabby must have handled all the stress, as we didn’t feel any.
8. What cultural aspects did you include in your big day?
We had a traditional Lebanese folklore dance performed by the bride and her family. We had Lebanese drums and music. We also had polish disco polo songs that lit the floor on fire, and of course a lot of Polish vodka shots. We also had a very intimate polish tradition called “blessing” before the wedding where it was only us and our parents and siblings.
Thank you so much Christiane for your answers and for your review:
“I highly recommend Rebecca and her team. They were very professional yet extremely friendly. The people she chose to help organise and capture our day were phenomenal. She not only helped before and during the wedding, but she even helped us finalise our legal paperwork after the wedding. I personally feel that Rebecca is a friend not just my wedding planner, as she made all my wished comes true and she made it look so easy; she’s an absolute rockstar! A special thank you goes to Gabby, Rebecca’s right arm, for investing so much of herself in our wedding day. I truly felt that all Gabby’s efforts came from the heart, and it really made our day even more special!”
