Experiencing Me Sitges

We spend a lot of time working in Sitges. Taking our clients to it’s beautiful Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla Church and stunning sea view villa and hotel venues. However, it wasn’t until Summer 2020 that we got to experience Sitges from our client’s point of view. Due to the Covid19 pandemic we decided to have a “staycation” at nearby Sitges. We wanted to make the most of this situation to experience first hand the top hotels of Sitges so we can better advise our clients. In other words any excuse for a holiday at amazing hotels like Me Sitges ? .

Over the August break we got to stay at Dolce Sitges, Hotel Mim (aka “Messi’s Hotel”) and last but definitely not least ME Sitges Terramar! Our favourite was by far ME Sitges. Anybody who would like to hear about our experience at the other Sitges hotels please get in contact.

Today we are focusing on our experience at Me Sitges. Please excuse the low quality photos but you can still get an idea of just how amazing the service and facilities were.

Part of the Meliá hotel group, Me Sitges opened just over two years ago at the beginning of 2018 so the facilities are really modern and stylish. It has 213 bedrooms with different categories and we had the pleasure of being upgraded to the Chic Suite which was very spacious and perfect, if like us you have a child.

On previous visits we were able to view the suite, just check out the view from the bathroom!

Me Sitges has always been a very attractive location for hosting both weddings and pre/post wedding events. The food is of such a high standard it doesn’t feel like “hotel food”. During our stay breakfast was served by the pool with strict yet efficient Covid hygiene measures in place. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced at a hotel with a great variety of sweet and savoury, fruit, yoghurt, cooked and baked goods. The paella we had was also amazing.

The hotel catering is ran by Beso Beach, a group inspired by Basque cuisine with characteristic, popular restaurants in Formentera, Bilbao, Barcelona, and Tulum (México).

Me Sitges also offer different sea view terraces for your event and even have the option of reserving a suite with it’s own exclusive pool and rooftop where you can hold an event for up to 80 guests. You can see videos of this space below.

The indoor dining space is also very elegant and perfect for a Me Sitges wedding.

With it’s chandeliers and fresh design the Vintage room is perfect for the reception and does not come with a rental fee. This space links to a spacious terrace with a sea view that is often the setting for the cultural, fashion and musical events regularly held at Me Sitges. As you can see below it’s also perfect for the aperitif with views of the sea.

As guests at Me Sitges the VIP treatment starts as soon as you reach their (free) car park. You’re greeted by friendly, attentive staff who give you just the right amount of information in an efficient way. As you can see by the photos below we had the time of our lives and can’t wait to go back to Me Sitges.
