Sora and Sebastian got married this October at one of our favourite venues: La Baronia.

Read on to see what they had to say about their fairytale wedding and working with our team. We had an absolute blast working with this lovely couple, putting together their dream day. This was the perfect autumn wedding at La Baronia.

Describe your Barcelona wedding day in 3 words!

So-much-love (😂), Fun, beautiful, magical.

What was your favourite memory from your Barcelona wedding?

The first look for sure!

Why did you choose Barcelona and your venue for your wedding?

Sebastian studied abroad there. When Sebastian and Sora met, Sora was planning a trip to Spain and convinced Sora to do (more) days in Barcelona. She loved it. Forward 3 years later, it was their first international trip together (along with Sebastian’s parents). It is the city of our story.

What did you love most about your wedding dress? How and where did you find it?

My sleeves! Which were customized from my veil. Got it in Augusta, GA and tailored at Gizzelle James in Atlanta, GA.

If you did it all again what might you change?

More direction on music, Request a few photos that we hadn’t thought to.

Tell us about the blooms. What was your favourite thing about your wedding flowers?

Honestly don’t remember too much about the flowers 😅 We wish we could have preserved them! But our venue had so much foliage, it stole the show!

What is your advice for other couples getting married in Barcelona?

Use Barcelona Brides for a low-stress planning period!

What cultural aspects did you include in your big day?

Sora’s mom and aunt wore traditional Korean dresses – “hanbok”.

Can’t help falling in love…and Unwritten haha!

What did Sora & Sebastian have to say about their experience with Barcelona Brides?

If you want a wonderful and low-stress planning period for your wedding, you must use Barcelona Brides! Rebecca and her team are amazing and so personable to work with, and they’re knowledgeable about all aspects of creating the wedding plan. She made time to meet with us regularly even though we had a 6 hour time difference, advised us on every decision but never pressured us, and personally took us to our venue for the tour and tasting. Rebecca and her team responded so quickly to all of our concerns – we were never left hanging if we had a question. As a bonus, Rebecca’s husband is a photographer and created the wedding photos of our dreams!! I highly highly recommend choosing Barcelona Brides as your wedding planner!
