Describe your Castell Sant Marçal wedding day in 3 words!

Beautiful, magical, fairytale!

What was your favourite memory from your Castell Sant Marçal wedding?

It’s hard to choose one, but I think walking down the aisle – the emotions were unbelievable and then getting all the way there and standing next to Allan, all the nerves disappeared ☺️

Why did you choose Castell Sant Marçal and your venue for your wedding?

We just fell in love with Barcelona and felt like once we visited Castell Sant Marçal, we just knew everything would be perfect! Staying in Barcelona at the Iberostar Selection Paseo de Gracia was a huge highlight for us and all of our guests – everyone loved the hotel, the venue and the city!

What did you love most about your wedding dress? How and where did you find it?

I loved the flower detail of my dress and how modern but bridal it was! It was a Berta dress from Opus Atelier in Scotland. An amazing boutique I would highly recommend to UK brides 

If you did it all again what might you change?

I think In hindsight I would have began myself and bridal party getting ready a little sooner to prevent being late, then again, I still think the day would have gone by in the blink of an eye regardless if we had got there a little sooner.

Tell us about the blooms. What was your favourite thing about your wedding flowers?

I loved how elegant they were, phlox did a great job! I especially loved my bridal bouquet! Orchids are my favourite

What is your advice for other couples getting married in Barcelona?

My advice is to remember that it’s a big, busy city and that finding exactly what you want can be challenging in terms of hotel and any day after/night before celebrations.

What song brings you back to the day and why?

September – Earth Wind and fire, our bridal party made their entrance into the reception to this song as the date was the 21st September. Everyone now associates that song with our wedding and I love that!
